to take over this new division and lead it to the

We're looking for an outstanding individual with
a strong track record from the Marine insurance
discipline to take charge of this portfolio with
the intention of building it into the leading commercial
marine insurance brokerage.
Applicants will have to have a thorough knowledge
of marine premium comparative rating and clause
inclusion/exclusion in order to ensure Underwriters
in the market' are competitive thus, experience
in dealing with underwriters at a management level
is essential.

To secure this excellent opportunity with real career
progression opportunities you will need a minimum
of two (2) years marine insurance experience at
a senior level, with the following key qualifications
and skills:-
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Tier 1 or equivalent with a demonstrable track
record in Marine Insurance;
- A comprehensive understanding of marine insurance
law issues, including Lloyds wordings;
- Ability to manage client enquiries & grow the
book without sacrificing administration;
- Client service ethic and a proactive outgoing
nature;
- Strong sales and relationship building skills
with clients and underwriters alike;
- Ability to source solutions for clients & willingness
to undertake interstate and o/s travel.
Remuneration:
Currently based at circa' $75K + performance bonus's
however, substantial variables can be structured
to reflect your level of expertise. In some circumstances
sign on fees may be applicable. You will be rewarded
with a competitive salary package including bonuses
and you can look forward to having plenty of opportunity
to progress to a senior underwriting role.
